The taxpayers got a LOT for their tax dollar on this project. And we had fun putting it together!
|

|
This truck has been equipped with a water tank, pump, hose reels with booster and forestry line, rakes, air rake, and a generator with quartz lights. We also installed the normal FD equipment including lights, sirens, radio. Firefighters even did the body work and paintjob here at the station.

These photos are in reverse order but you can see that we started with a surplus military truck and turned into a capable brush truck.

Our firefighters went through this truck from top to bottom repairing any problem areas.
|

Recipe: Ad one surplus military truck and add some elbow grease. Mix thoroughly and add water.
